My grandma passed away yesterday (my mom's mom).  She was the last Grandma I had, not to mention the one I was closest to.  She was only 76.  Too early to go.  I will miss her terribly.  I haven't really cried yet but I think it's because I haven't seen her (she has been living in Texas for the past 3 years).  I think I'll cry more when I see my mom, who, by the way is taking this very hard.  I want to hug her so bad that it hurts (she lives 5 hours away in central Illinois). So, there is a mouser in my family...  I woke up last Friday morning (oct. 26th) and walked out to the kitchen and about had a heart attack. Now, I don't hate mice, nor am I scared of them, but this one was just sitting in the middle of the floor... dead. Yuck. I can only assume that Arty is the cat behind it because Sassy is not that agressive. But then again, I've never seen her in action before. So actually, I have no idea who did it. My dog had to be put down this morning.  She had liver disease.  I've written out what happened in a prose sort of way and posted it with her picture.  I took that picture the day before she died-... no.  Was put to sleep.  I've also changed my avatar to a picture of her.  I love her so much.  My baby girl. I'm making her a headstone over the next few days.  Only problem is that because it is cement, it's going to take about two weeks before we can put it in the ground without risking breaking it.  I'll post a picture of it when I'm done.  Which will be before Saturday.
